Childs family | Mountain adventure

I love a good pretty field any day of the week, but my heart really really really loves the mountains. I mean, for one, Utah has some of the most beautiful mountains on the planet earth. I don’t know about the other planets, but I can assure you this is no exaggeration. Our mountains are gorgeous. But you know what makes them even more amazing? Taking pictures of beautiful families in them! Its like out of this world, mind blowing amazingness that I am so lucky to be able to capture. Now I know what you are thinking, Krystie, you must say this about all your clients. Well of course, but only because I have gorgeous clients. Once again, no lies detected. I mean if the mountains aren’t your thing that’s fine. Really.. It’s fine… Lucky for me these guys were down for an adventure, and we were blessed with some amazing colors and some amazing memories. It was impossible for me to narrow them down so I’m going to spam you with pictures. It is after all, family picture season. Next to HALLOWEEN, this is my favorite. The changing leaves, the happy families. Gives me the warm fuzzies and keeps me smiling during the cold winter.

So you know, give me a shout out and lets make some memories!

It has been a while since I shot seniors. I love them! I feel like I have more of a non traditional approach to senior pictures though and its not for everyone. Felicity was a perfect fit because she shared the same hipster/hippie vibes that I love to capture!

I alway love taking pictures in Helper Ut. Its such an artsy little space! If you haven’t been you need to add it to the bucket list!

Good luck on your next chapter Felicity.

That hair | Price Utah newborn photographer

When I saw the pictures of this sweet little man and his head of hair I was soooo excited to meet him. I mean that’s some ridiculously perfect hair!

He was so sweet, and expressive. Loved him on the greens and neutral backdrops.

Lorenzo was a little ham. He was shy, he was smiley, he cried when he touched cake.. I mean I usually cry after I eat the cake, but you do you Lorenzo!

I seriously love bubble bath sessions guys! They are always the cutest and usually produce genuine smiles and laughs. I need to maybe offer them for many sessions. Let me know!

I like to call the theme of this session “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to.” But he still was the cutest little race car driver around! Happy Birthday little man!

Now I know what you all are thinking. Why is there a beach? Listen guys. Everyone knows I love adventure sessions so we hopped in a plan and went to the beach! Ok ok, maybe not. But if anyone wants to fly me to a beach I won’t complain. Here is the deal, dad isn’t from our little desert state and grew up surfing and wanted the ocean incorporated somehow. So I made some magic.

This family was so adorable and so easy to work with! It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with them during our time together. When they asked for a couple of shots solo I was happy to oblige. And they brought the fire!

Buchmiller | Desert Maternity

I honestly love repeat clients. I love watching your children grow and your family evolve. I’ve had the pleasure of working with this family for the past couple of years and watching them go from newlyweds to mom and dad.

It’s such a privilege shooting maternity and newborns and sharing such special and intimate moments in peoples lives. Ok, who is cutting onions in here this morning…

Anyways. We have had such a wet year out here the in the arid desert, and let me tell you it is breathtakingly beautiful right now. So obviously this was the perfect destination for this beautiful family. We battled bugs, danced to baby shark and played in the dreamy yummy light. We got blessed with a beautiful sunset. All in all it was a great day.

Olsen Family | Green River Adventure

I think going someplace that you visit and adventure at as a family for family pictures is basically the best idea ever. Why not have pictures of happy memories. I remember going to the La Sal Mountains with my family to camp, and I would kill to have some pictures of us all together back then. Something to look at and smile on and let the flood of good memories and times flow through you. I mean I’m just as happy to do a session in a beautiful field, but getting to take pictures someplace special to you is just icing on the cake. Not to mention I love new places and exploring ❤

Lets have fun on dirt roads guys!

Carter | Price Utah Newborn Photographer

What can I say about babies?  I just love them. I love being able to capture these precious moments for you that are gone in a blink of an eye. I hope my love and passion shows through in the work that I do, because I give it my heart and soul.

Carter came into the session and immediately stole my heart. His big lips and squishy cheeks, lets just say I was over the moon.

Sweet Little Ella Bee

I love just a soft, simple, neutral session. Really just showcasing the beauty of a newborn.

Madrid Maternity | Wildflowers

It was seriously such a long hard winter here in Utah, I thought for sure it would never end! The end result is something I have never seen before. The desert and everywhere in between is so in bloom. Its so green and lush and full of blooms. Just like these beautiful blooming gals. So yay for warmer weather, blossoms, baby bumps and beautiful families.
